This privacy policy applies to the XCopy application ("App") developed by XCopy.Team ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Account information or credentials
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers
• Any information beyond what is necessary for the App's core functionality

2. Clipboard Data

XCopy is a clipboard manager that stores your clipboard history locally on your device using Apple's CoreData framework.

• All clipboard data is stored locally on your Mac
• Clipboard data never leaves your device unless iCloud Sync is enabled
• You have full control over which data types are stored and can delete items at any time
• Supported content types: text, rich text, images, URLs, colors

3. iCloud Sync

XCopy supports iCloud synchronization to share clipboard history across your macOS devices.

• Uses Apple CloudKit private database only
• Data is end-to-end encrypted by Apple
• We cannot access your synced data — only your Apple ID can decrypt it
• You choose which content types to sync (text, links, images, etc.)
• File clipboard items are never synced (security bookmarks are device-specific)

4. Data Sharing

• No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• No advertising networks or trackers
• No crash reporting tools that collect user data
• No third-party SDKs that collect personal information

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual clipboard items at any time within the App
• Clear all clipboard history from the App's settings
• Uninstalling XCopy removes all locally stored data
• iCloud-synced data can be managed through your iCloud settings

6. Children's Privacy

XCopy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
